Service at Beacon

Jesus Christ has commanded us to reach out to the poor, the unfortunate, the downtrodden. We believe firmly in bringing a “cup of cold water in his name” by engaging in practical, physical acts of service and love.

At Beacon, we strive to not only serve one another, but serve our community and people in need in Natick and the greater Boston area. We often have one-time service projects, such as events for the homeless, building projects, and sending blankets to Bolivia. During the Christmas season, we adopt a family through the Department of Social Services to love and support through gifts and encouragement. Our on-going projects include donating to our local food pantry in Natick and volunteering our time at the Natick Service Council facility. We support Campus Crusade in the Boston area and we strive to support international missionaries through occasional guest speakers and donation process information. Finally, we try to encourage our children to serve through family-friendly service projects and serving opportunities within our church community.
