The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is Beacon Community Church's ministry for children from infancy - 5th grade and their families.  Our program focuses on 3 main goals: Teaching Biblical Truths, Fostering Loving Relationship and Supporting Families.

Teaching Biblical Truths

The Lighthouse is dedicated to the effort of teaching our children some of the most important truths they will ever learn.

Preschoolers who attend the Lighthouse focus on three truths that are taught in a creative and engaging way.

* God loves me.
* God made me.
* Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

School-Aged children will focus on a monthly core virtue and bible verse that is built around 3 basic truths that are found in Luke 2:52.

*I need to make the wise choice.
*I can trust God no matter what.
*I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Fostering Loving Relationships

And while the Lighthouse is truly about the serious business of teaching, it's also focused on fostering fun and loving relationships.  In our program we believe in the importance of children developing significant relationships with God-loving teachers and peers.

Supporting Families

We realize that a child's family is the primarily spiritual influence in his or her life.  Our program wants to partner with you, as their family, to help you nurture and guide your children through the spiritual milestones of their life.  Once a month, we offer Kid Connection,  a fun and interactive Sunday service connecting family, community and faith.  We also offer the Family Times devotional tool to guide parents and children to make the most of their moments together.  We are always available to listen to your concerns and offer help in helping guide your child to greater faith.
