So you don’t care for iTunes or you don’t have it, and you just want to get a particular podcast downloaded to your PC. There are several ways to go about doing this, some easier than others.
Right Click Is Your Friend
Say you want to listen to a specific podcast you saw on the front page. All you need to do is use your mouse to right click on the link for the podcast (the “Click to play” link) and choose “Save As …”. The actual position and text for the “Save As” option will depend on what web browser you are using (left is Internet Explorer, right is FireFox):
![]()
![]()
Once you choose “Save As …”, you will be asked where to save the file. You can save the file wherever you wish, you just need to remember where you saved it when you want to use it next.
Seriously Consider Using iTunes
If you aren’t using iTunes, seriously consider giving it a look. The instructions for getting podcasts with iTunes are much simpler and more automated than manually downloading podcast files one at a time. It make burning podcasts to CD even easier.
